On December 6, 2004... I will be at Junction 8, Bishan, with Carol and my son, Iggi, doing something meaningful (as they say, "Life isn't just all about you")... I'll be part of an event that is attempting to set a world guiness book record by forming the world's biggest "HUMAN FLAG" (we are targetting to assemble 16,000 people which isn't exactly a tall order)...
This is a charitable event and sponsors had agreed to pay an "X" amount of dollars for every participant registered to an appointed charitable organisation... So the more the participants, the more funds we would raise for the charitable organisation... I know you guys had been great, supporting all those past events and fund-raising drives posted on KPNN... And once again, I'd like to call upon all of you for your support again... For those of you whom had NEVER lent your support to any of those past events, this is the time that you can do something that you'd be proud of...
All you need to do is register with TRIP (send your SMS to 9855-8368), then present yourself on December 6 at Junction 8, Bishan. You'd be given a RED or WHITE T-shirt at "NO-COST" and you'd be allocated a place to stand to form the BIGGEST SINGAPORE FLAG... The whole event will only last for about 2 hrs... No sweat at all...
This is the time to show the world, what you would do for charity... this is not just to show how patriotic we can be... this is but just a small deed (doesn't cost you an arm or a leg) that you can do, but it has great mileage for the charitable organisation being the beneficiary...
