Yes, finally... the Phantom has moved into his new place on New Year's Eve. They took advantage of the extended holidays to move. Well, the moving is done... and the unpacking is gonna take a while. But they will try to get the place up by Chinese New Year... The reason why they're moving out in such a rush was because Carol's sister was getting married (8 Jan 2006) and she would need that room space that we were occupying... and since their new place was almost ready, why not? Afterall, it'd be nearer for the Phantom to get to work...
There are still quite a bit to do to the Phantom's new habitat. Restricted by his finances, they can only "build" their home bit by bit. The core necessities are already there its just the other comforts that they will need to slowly put in. Most of which would be DIY. Even the curtains are DIY and hand-sewn somemore. I guess, when two persons put their hands together to build a home, it's so much warmer.
Though the skies are brightening up for the Phantom, but his immediate livelihood is still something to pull through. There are a lot of things needed for a new home. With a baby, CNY around the corner and day-to-day expenses, it is quite a challenge making ends meet. Nonetheless, there will always be things to look forward to. Its how we see things.
The Phantom is indeed happy. The worst is over and even if skies are still grey, at least they're not pitch black... hehehe...
