Our paparazzis had been hot on the Phantom's heels since Friday, 13th September 2002... and we are committed to give you guys the exclusive latest developments of the phantom's love life... To the many of you that had yet gotten over from the shock that the Phantom had finally opened up his heart again, you'd probably flip when you hear what we're about to report on...
Here's what we've gathered from our snooping around and here's what we've jotted down on our notes...
Friday, 26 April 2002:
The phantom's birthday... his imps threw a celebration at Siam Supper Club and that was the day, that he first met his Queen of Hearts... introduced by his friend, Mike (the violinist from SSO) at Eastside... Thereafter, they met a few other times but nothing had yet sparked off from there then. They were just "hi & bye" kinda friends with both not having much impression of each other...
Friday, 13 Sep 2002:
On this fateful night, the Phantom was alone at Eastside and so was his Queen of Hearts... the Phantom thought he saw a familiar face and so did she... their line of sight was obstructed and so both the Phantom and his Queen of Hearts were frantically popping their heads to try to catch a better glimpse of each other's familiar face... Then when they finally caught a full-face view of each other, they both pointed their index fingers at each other and greeted each other...
Then they spent the whole nite chatting with each other. That was when, the both of them discovered that they really shared a lot in common... It's like two strangers suddenly became best of pals... like they've known each other for ages...
After that night, they went separate ways but kept a very close contact over the phone... sometimes they talked longer than 5 hours on the phone... they shared and discovered more of each other and developed a very strong bond between them as if they've known each other from their previous lives...
Wednesday, 18 Sep 2002:
Eastside's Steak and Wedges Nite... This was their first "date" as in, this was their first pre-arranged visit to Eastside together and this sent tongues wagging... By then, the Phantom and his Queen of Hearts had grown very comfortable with each others' company...
Thursday, 19 Sep 2002:
They met again at Eastside but the Phantom was with his imps and the Queen of Hearts was with her knights... but after the party was over, and in the twilight hours, they resume their nightly rendevous on the telephone lines...
That was when they exchanged that they were very fond of each other... Naturally, the next question was, should they give this a shot?? The Phantom was indecisive... No concrete decision was concluded as yet...
Saturday, 21 Sep 2002:
After much consideration, the Phantom eventually agreed to come down from his riding on fences to give love another go... The Phantom then made headlines by openly declaring that he's getting attached...
Thereafter, apart from outings that they had together, the both of them had been seen together at the void deck of the Queen of Hearts every nite till the twilight fades into pre-dawn...
Friday, 27 Sep 2002:
The day that the Phantom rocked Eastside... The Phantom bought a ring, went to the DJ console and asked his Queen of Hearts (in the presence of everyone in the house) if she'd marry him... Eastside erupted... and the Phantom went down on bent knees to present the token of his love for acceptance...
The Queen of Hearts broke into tears and was speechless... she could not even say "Yes, I will"... all she could do was to extend her hand in consent for the Phantom to slip the ring onto her finger... and Eastside erupted again...
That night, there were many happy faces but there were a few sad ones too... the proposal sent a few contending beaus for the Queen of Hearts in shattering heart-breaks while those whom had waited for the Phantom's icy cold heart to melt, broke down in tears...

QTN: Who's the Queen of Hearts?
ANS: Carol Eliza Chong
QTN: How old is she?
ANS: Born in the year 1976, she's 26 years old.
QTN: Do we have a photo of her?
ANS: Well, we've been ordered to have a media blackout, so no photos as yet. But we'll post her once we're cleared to do so.. She is said to have a striking resemblance of the sultry Hsu Qi (hmm... wonder if our KPNN feature of Hsu Qi had something to do with the Phantom's choice).
QTN: Have they got physical?
ANS: erm... as of the day that the Phantom proposed, they've yet consumated anything physical yet.
QTN: When will the wedding bells ring?
ANS: As we know, the Phantom's custody for his boy is yet over so.. till that issue is resolved, the bells ain't ringing yet.. but it'd be soon..
QTN: What do they have in common?
ANS: Well, she works near the Phantom (juz 1 train stop away)... lives near the Phantom (juz a stone's throw away)... they are both born in the year of the dragon (Phantom is 12 yrs older)... they both like red meat... they are both Catholics... they think alike (u'd find that when u ask the Phantom a question and she'd answer it in phantom's words)...
QTN: What have their families have to say about their relationship?
ANS: Frankly, both their parents dunno about it yet, though the Queen of Hearts' mother had more or less guessed.. But the Phantom's brother was shocked beyond words... The Phantom's boy is very fond of her and his ex-in-laws (who are taking care of the boy at this moment) had given the Phantom their blessings (weird)...
QTN: What the Phantom and his Queen of Hearts has to say about each other's past relationships (marriages, in the Phantom's case)?
ANS: Well, they are very open and honest about it and they both felt that they've both accepted each other's past... they will stand by each other for the present... and they see a future together...
QTN: What are their plans from here?ANS: erm... to get married at the soonest possible time, of coz... the Phantom is looking to buy a place and the Queen of Hearts will probably move in with him... Mike would be the Phantom's bestman and we would be looking forward to a church wedding...
