Phantom's House-Hunt

So the Phantom had found his Queen of Hearts... and the story does not end here with a "they lived happily ever after" ending... In fact, there's more Kay Poh news that we can dig up... After all, what's KPNN without news of the Phantom?

It was reported that the Phantom & his Queen of Hearts had been seen hunting... hunting for a house that is... erm... dun open your mouth so wide lah... u shouldn't be so shock any more... I mean, if the Phantom can propose to his Queen of Hearts in juz 6 days of courtship... what else can shock u? Besides, Phantom had been house hunting for a while now... but had not been successful...

And it appears that they have narrowed down their hunt to juz Stirling Road & Jalan Bahagia... These are the only locations in the entire Singapore that u can find a small terrace house with a front porch and a backyard... And the best part of it, is that these terrace houses are classified as HDB 3-rm flats... that not only makes it 'singles eligible' (erm... dun forget, the Phantom's Decree Nisi is not made Absolute yet coz he's still fighting Iggi's custody) but it has low conservancy fees as well... and whenever the government announce any tax reliefs u get the most coz its a 3-rm flat...

These houses, though old, they are very spacious, very private and they indeed possess a lot of charm & character to make it an ideal habitat for the Phantom... but they don't come with a cheap price tag though... the average price for each unit is around $400K which is slightly above the Phantom's budget of $350K...

So far they've seen one house at Stirling Rd and four at Jalan Bahagia... They liked the one at Stirling Road because the layout of the houses there are not as congested as those at Jalan Bahagia... but its a little over-priced (asking $50K above the valuation while the rest are only around $10K above valuation)... so if you know of anyone who has a place like that, let the Phantom know...
