Phantom's Car Crash...

The Phantom has a terrible car accident today. He was heading home in his Nissan March along Simei Avenue after catching the John Little Sale at Singapore Expo with Carol, Isaiah and Carol's pregnant sister. Then, this stupid fool in his MPV in the opposite traffic flow decides to turn right at the traffic light junction. The MPV driver served his stupid car right into the path of the Phantom's Nissan March. The Phantom didn't even have time to hit the brakes as the traffic lights on the Phantom's flow was GREEN and who would expect this fool to negotiate a turn in such a reckless manner?

BANG !!!! The Phantom's Nissan March was crushed against the MPV. Carol's immediate maternal instinct was to protect junior. She curled up around Isaiah and became his human air-bag. She was thrown forward and guess what? She crushed right into the passenger seat in front of her ripping it from its harness (guess she wasn't that light afterall)... and thank goodness no one was seated at the front passenger seat... Her sister who's 26 weeks pregnant seated behind the Phantom had the driver's seat to cushion part of the impact.. As for the Phantom, he was the least fortunate of all... he was like a pin-ball being thrown back and forth against the steering wheel and back until the impact worn down...

Isaiah was ok... other than the shock he had and the cut on his lips, he's ok... Carol suffered bruises on her limbs, her butt, her back and had several contusions on her neck and shoulder... her sister's leg was like a pig's trotter and she had contractions almost immediately... the Phantom?... he's stuck in the driver's seat and it took the Civil Defence Squad almost 45 minutes to get him out...

Carol's sister was rushed to KK hospital where she had to be treated in an emergency to stablize the foetus that was barely ready to be delivered... was indeed a close shave... She was later hospitalized for observations...

Carol was treated as an outpatient and was discharged that very night...

The Phantom had to camp into Changi General Hospital for the next few days... He suffered injuries to his abdomen, chest, neck and shoulders.

At the point of impact, Carol swore that she hear the sounding of the horn that alerted her to curl up into a position ready for the crash... but none others heard the horn... It must be Isaiah's Guardian Angel... Nothing could had stopped the crash... but at least, Carol was alerted to take precautions to become Isaiah's human air-bag...

After all these and looking back at the condition and state of the car that it was in, it is indeed a miracle that all of them survived the crash with just superficial injuries... so... don't say that God doesn't exist...
