Yes... the Phantom participated in The Blue Cow's in-house 8-Ball Pool Competition and has qualified for the Quarter-Finals to be played on Saturday, 14 April 2001...
The competition comprises 4 groups where all players will compete in a round-robin league format for the qualifying round. Thereafter, the winner and runner-up of each group shall progress to the Quarter-Finals where it'll be a knock-out format from there on. The Phantom emerged Champion of the Group C League when he remained undefeated after the round-robin challenge.
For some reasons, the Phantom appears to be in excellent form despite having laid off 8-ball pool for so long. He seem very determined and inspired... hmmm... wonder what's the driving force behind that... and where did he get his inspiration from... ermm.... well... the prize is a trip for two to Phuket if that may prompt you to guess...
and eh... if you are dying to know if the Phantom's "Special Someone" was there to watch him throughout his games... well, nothing reported yet leh... there are just too many female companions around him during the competitions for anyone to even speculate (bet some of you who were there were speculating eh?)... so ermm... you may wanna hop on down to The Blue Cow this Saturday to see if you'd be just lucky enough to spot the Phantom with the lady of his dreams...

HOT UPDATES:
In an exclusive interview with KPNN, the Phantom admitted that he had his first physical contact with his lady of his dreams... WHOA!!! but eh... just in case you blokes are having wild thoughts... it isn't what you think lah... it was merely a hug and then the holding of hands for a span of few seconds lah... but the Phantom seem contented enough to flash a grin stretching from Tuas to Changi...

The National 8-Ball Pool Challenge:
The Blue Cow was reported to be interested to sign the Phantom and his group of players to play for this year's National 8-Ball Challenge....
The National 8-Ball Challenge is by far the most prestigious tournament in the 8-Ball Pool calendar... with more than $50,000/- of prize monies at stake, it is one event that no pool enthusiast would wanna miss... also, all finalists would be given a chance to join the National Squad in training and if they prove themselves worthy, they represent the Republic in the coming SEA Games & Commonwealth Games...
Last year, the Phantom's players only made it as far as the Pre-Quater Finals with the exception of Kelvin who made it to the Quarter Finals... so are they taking up the MOOs offer??? Well, nothing concrete yet... negotiations still on the way... stay tuned for more updates...
